General Info

 

Huron is a somewhat small city located in the state of Ohio. With a population of 7,075 people and two constituent neighborhoods, Huron is the 209th largest community in Ohio.

 

Unlike some cities where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Huron is neither predominantly one nor the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Huron is a city of sales and office workers, professionals and service providers. There are especially a lot of people living in Huron who work in sales jobs (16.86%), office and administrative support (15.91%) and healthcare (11.03%).

 

Being a small city, Huron does not have a public transit system used by locals to get to and from work.
